The recent COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lives of billions of people worldwide, either through direct viral infections or through economic consequences of preemptive quarantining measures. We, researchers at the Max Plank Insitute for Software Systems, are looking at the pandemic response policies from a computational lens, and developing software-based solutions to aid in the decision making process.
